Governor Huntsman is an American businessman, diplomat, and politician. He served as Vice Chair of Policy at Ford Motor Company from 2021 to 2022. He served as U.S. Ambassador to Russia from 2017 to 2019 and as Chairman of the Atlantic Council, a nonprofit that promotes leadership and engagement in international affairs, from 2014 until 2017. He has served in the administrations of five Presidents and was a candidate for the Republican nomination for president of the United States in 2011. He was Chairman of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization that financially supports research, education, and patient care initiatives at Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah from 2012 until 2017. Governor Huntsman served as U.S. Ambassador to China from 2009 until 2011 and two consecutive terms as Governor of Utah from 2005 until 2009.
